Listening to Black Men Part 3

You are invited to join OUR -

ONLINE MEETING

Sunday 13th September 2020 @ 2pm

Too often Black men are interacted with as one-dimensional characters, unknown and misunderstood. They are not granted the opportunity to be seen and heard as unique, complex, and amazing individuals.

Rahbin's intimate conversations with Black men in America, has unveiled these truths, based on their answers to the same identical eleven questions.  Rahbin Shyne pulls back the curtain on their inner world--their loves, their hopes, their struggles, and their wins.

Rahbin Shyne is a podcast host, author, and educator. She is the host of the 365 Brothers podcast which delivers an intimate conversation with a Black American male in every episode. The podcast has quickly grown a loyal following for its straight-talking, authentic and candid conversations with men from diverse backgrounds.

Choosing to interview 365 brothers is par for the course for this completionist. Whether it was completing 365 original poems in as many days in 2019 or her commitment to walk 100 half-marathons within 10 years, this woman is driven by numbers. This theme extends to her book titles as well. Her most popular book is 99 Inspiring Quotes by Famous African-Americans and Adventures in Compassion, a thirty-day kindness challenge.

Shyne is a veteran educator with over thirty years of experience in education from K-12 to university. She is among the top tier of educators in the United States who have achieved National Board Certification and serves as a Designated Master Teacher within her school district. As for the half-marathon, she's completed 43 and counting.
